A one-day course that will help you build your own website using free WordPress software.
You will choose a template that you can modify and will learn how to upload media and add extra functionality using ‘widgets’. You will be able to further develop, change and update your website later.
You will be expected to bring with you a wireless-enabled laptop with words, images and other content on it.
You will need to register your own domain name and buy web space in advance - all of which can be purchased for less than £50. We will send you instructions in advance, but these must be completed, at least 48 hours before the course begins.
We will not be able to wait for anyone who has not done this before the course starts. Please note: we cannot provide technical support if your laptop breaks down during the course.
More details will be given on booking.
